Your rights, our commitments, and where to turn for advocacy or feedback.
Every participant has the right to safe, respectful, person-centred support. The NDIS Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for providers — and at Ngara Care, we hold ourselves accountable to every one of them.
You will be treated with courtesy, respect, and dignity at all times.
You have the right to make decisions about your own life and supports.
You have the right to support that is safe, free from harm, and free from neglect.
Your information will be kept confidential and used only as required to provide your support.
You have the right to support that respects your culture, identity, language, and beliefs.
You have the right to give feedback or raise concerns — without fear of any consequence to your supports.
If something isn’t working — or if you have an idea for how we can do better — we want to hear about it. You can speak to your support worker, your coordinator, or our office directly. We’ll listen, take it seriously, and follow up.
If at any point you’d prefer to speak to someone external, you have the right to contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission on 1800 035 544 or via the NDIS Commission website.
You have the right to seek independent advocacy at any time — including during plan reviews, when raising concerns, or when navigating decisions about your support. Advocacy is free and independent of providers.
