What services does Ngara Care offer?

We offer ten core services across the NDIS — including community participation, positive behaviour support, counselling, respite, day options, in-home support, personal care, transport, life skills development, and support coordination. View all services.

Do you support participants who aren’t Aboriginal?

Yes — we welcome everyone. Our approach is grounded in cultural respect and inclusion, and we work with participants from all backgrounds.

Where do you deliver services?

We’re based in St Agnes, SA, and deliver services across Adelaide and surrounding South Australia. See service areas.

How quickly can supports start?

Once we’ve had an initial conversation and signed a service agreement, supports can typically begin within a couple of weeks — sometimes sooner depending on availability.

NDIS & Funding

NDIS and funding

Do I need an NDIS plan to access your services?

Most of our supports are funded through the NDIS, so you’ll typically need an active plan or be in the process of applying. If you’re not sure where to start, we can point you in the right direction.

How does plan management affect using your services?

Self-managed, plan-managed, or NDIA-managed — we work with all three. We’ll send invoices to whoever manages your plan, following NDIS price guides.

Do you work with support coordinators?

Yes. We regularly collaborate with support coordinators, plan managers, LACs, and other allied professionals.

How do I refer a participant?

Use our online referral form, call us on 08 7226 5588, or email info@ngaracare.com.au. Self-referrals and family referrals are welcome.

What happens after I make contact?

We’ll arrange a no-pressure conversation to understand your goals, your plan, and what you’d like support with. From there, we put together a draft service plan for you to review.

Can I change my mind after starting?

Of course. Your plan should evolve with you. We review supports regularly and adjust them whenever needed.
